Shroud
This group was originally one of the recruiting centers for Umbrella before the company’s major downfall. While most of the splinter groups stopped working (Yeah right) Shroud shifted it’s focus from the ‘serious’ sciences to more fringe. Though some of their members managed to get key people to whisper into the ears of big wigs. Along with fringe sciences they happen to have ears and eyes in several small groups including a few various anti various other than human groups. They tend to try to stay underground for the most part though keeping to the shadows. Lately they’ve come out in the light working as a small medical firm dealing with more unique situations. None of the cases they’ve dealt with for the most part have been high profile. They have funded a new wing for the local university, under it they have labs that they use for more extreme cases. They also know how to keep people in close. The few people who aren’t in their inner circle are usually conned into working for them by threatening those they’re close to, or keeping them close.

All that is known is whomever these people are have some highly classified intel on a lot of different people. They seem to be trying to help bring down Shroud, though they won't give information as to who they are or what their beef is with the company. Maybe they're an ex-employee? Can't be they happen to be in the know of what's happening as it happens. All forms of tracking them are impossible. They seem to hide their tracks far too well. Maybe you can figure out the mystery of who they are while you're trying to figure out exactly what's going on in general.
